My Dad kind of teases me about the eggs that I buy. When he picks me up a dozen or 2, he says how he met the chickens playing in the pasture behind the store and how they assured him that they are very happy in their pasture. (ha, ha, Dad)
I love it during the summer when I pick up local farm eggs with my farm share. Now, though, I have been buying the pasture raised $7.49 per dozen eggs at whole foods. Is it worth it? If you consider that you might spend $4 on a latte at Starbucks maybe two times a week, that could be your pasture raised eggs. Still not convinced? Here is another post from Stir It Up that really explains what the different egg labels are all about. Thanks again, Landria!
